CORE Outreach Completed
Why it Matters: CORE stands for Community Outreach and Education. The goal of CORE is to ensure all residents have water filters and know how to use them. CORE teams also share other educational materials of interest to residents. All CORE members are local residents hired and trained for this project. For purposes of this Action Tracker, a Community Outreach Visit is when a CORE team knocks on a resident’s door.
If you are a Flint resident and need a filter or cartridge, or want to be shown how to install filters or cartridges, call the CORE program hotline at 810-238-6700.
Total CORE Completed Visits as of February 2017 are 22,800.
